Annual Council Meeting at The Dorking Halls in March 2010.
The guest speaker before lunch was Ruth Bond who is the Chair of the
National Federation. Radio Redhill's Irwyn Davies met her after lunch.

We now return to the WI  conference in Dorking where the packed WI audience
at the Dorking Halls eagerly awaited the appearance of the Falklands War Veteran Simon Weston.
He immediately struck up a relationship with them and they responded in their appreciation
of his courage, honesty, humour and love for his country. Irwyn Davies felt  priveleged to meet
Simon afterwards and he now takes up the story.
