Radio Redhill wins HBA Awards Radio Redhill has won two silver awards in this year's HBA Hospital Radio Awards.
The awards were won for our coverage of The South of England Show and Irwyn Davies' interview with film and stage star Dame Judi Dench at Hever Castle. We were also a nominated for this year's Station of the Year award. |

Tandridge Citizen of the Year Awards Presenter
and producer of Radio Redhill’s award-winning programme Out &
About, Irwyn Davies, received a further accolade last Thursday when he
received an award at the Tandridge District Council Citizen of the Year
Awards. He received the scroll not only to recognise his 25 years
in hospital radio but also his great contribution to the Tandridge
Talking Newspapers.

The award-winners were selected by the Council Chairman, Cllr Brian Perkins, and the Vice-Chairman, Cllr Sakina Bradbury, and were announced at a Civic Reception held at the Surrey National Golf Club in Chaldon. The presentations were made by Tandridge MP Sam Gyimah, who praised the work of the many volunteers in the local community. |
