Radio
Redhill to
Stream Online. After
our successful birthday celebrations in April broadcasting online,
Radio Redhill will be starting full time online streaming from 1st July
2010. Listeners will be able to hear our programmes in stereo using a
computer, internet radio or a 3G mobile phone.Station Engineer, Ian Wilson, said "Online is a high quality way for patients on the ward to listen with mobile phones, or staff and patient relatives to listen at home on their computer or internet radio. The stereo sound available is something that just isn't possible with the ward headsets or with 1431am" Although the stream will be available worldwide, one thing won't change - our programmes will continue to be for the patients and staff of the East Surrey Hospital, although we hope other people will enjoy listening too. |
